Designed primarily for underground coal mining applications, and particularly suited to longwall and traditional coal mine environments, Fenner Conveyors' solid woven belting offers exceptional conveying performance at a highly economical rate.

As you would expect from a company with 150 years of in-house manufacturing experience, our solid woven conveyor belts not only meet SANS968:2013 and SANS971:2013 fire resistance and anti-static requirements, but they are also tough enough to handle the difficult conditions encountered in underground mines.

Unique binder warp system

Our highly complex design utilies warp yarns interlocked and tied into one single mass by means of a uniquely designed binder warp system.

PVC impregnation

Our Solid Woven fabric is 100% impregnated with PVC to make the finished product. Fenner Conveyors Belting unique, impregnation system renders the carcass impervious to attack from moisture, dirt, and chemicals.

Finished Product PVC

Following the impregnation process, PVC covers are applied to the top (carrying) and bottom (drive) surfaces of the belt to protect the carcass and extend service life. Maximum covers of 2.5mm PVC can be applied to final PVC belt.

Nitrile Finish

Following the final PVC covers being applied, belt get prepared to vulcanise Nitrile (FRSR or SWR) covers to be applied. Nitrile covers are applied to the top (carrying) and bottom (drive) surfaces of the belt to protect the carcass and extend service life.
