Meeting the fire-perfomance and anti-static requirements of all current safety standards, Fenaplast FR belting is designed primarily for use underground and in similar safety hazard situations. The PVC impregnation and belt covers have been proven ideally suitable in meeting fire resistance specifications and in overcoming practical conveying problems.
PVC compounds and cover thicknesses may be varied to suit the application circumstances. Fenaplast FR belting has proved its excellent service life in coal mining and in similar applications where high, continuous output depends on the belt's reliability.
The PVC compound covers give excellent cleaning properties and together with the advantages of the solid-woven carcass provide a belt ideal for soft rock applications other than coal, such as potash, phosphate, fertiliser, salt, gypsum, clay, etc, and for use in the timber industry and where moist sticky materials are handled.
